Farewell to T2 at JFK

Note it's $3.8 billion. Now continue reading.

JFK Terminal 2 will be shut down permanent on January 15 this year. All flights mainly Delta will be moved to Terminal 4.

This is part of ongoing never ending lifelong construction at the airport.

One part of Terminal 4 is all set to operate for Delta Airlines with the newly expanded and modernized location.

Then there will be a demolition set to kaput Terminal 2 to the ground.

This is part of the new plan to make Terminal 1, 2 and former 3 into a single location called, The Terminal One which is part of $18 billion.

It's all part of a consolidation plan to connect all locations easily for travelers.

The Terminal One is expected to complete in 2026 with fanfare and balloons.
