Fake money was used by a woman for purchase of sporting goods

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the woman who used counterfeit money to purchase merchandise in November.

A woman used counterfeit money to purchase two baseball bats and a sporting bag, valued at $560, from Dick’s Sporting Goods, located at 620 Smith Haven Mall, on November 20 at approximately 4:45 p.m.
