Fair Fares to launch in January 2018 for NYC

NYC will launch Fair Fares in January 2018 to provide discounted metro cards to low income residents earning less than $25,000 per year for a family of four. Its half priced metro cards which will be funded with taxpayers fund for almost a million low income commuters costing over $100 million dollars.
