FIFA went to NJ for 2026

Instead of Flushing when the new soccer stadium is ready, FIFA World Cup will be set for 2026 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Today, the new logo was unveiled at Times Square marking NJ/NY as the World Cup 2026 host city.

As part of the ceremonies unveiling the new logo, several landmarks across New York including the Vessel at Hudson Yards and the Oculus will be lit up green tonight.

The 2026 World Cup will be played in 16 host cities across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
