FDNY started vaccination to its members

After EMT received vaccinations last week in Randall's Island, the FDNY started their process of vaccinating firefighters starting today. This is at their headquarters in Brooklyn. Initially, some members refused the vaccination.

12 members died from the COVID-19 and around 600 are on medical leave.

According to FDNY, the plan is to vaccinate 20 staff of FDNY per hour daily from 12pm to 8pm until the mission is complete.
