F train commuters are advised extra cautious of phone thief

NYPD released pic of suspect wanted for snatching phones from commuters inside F train in Queens. Police reported four incidents in three weeks. The first incident occurred on April 18 around 1pm at Briarwood Station by Van Wyck Blvd when the perp stole a phone from a 19 year old male victim. On April 20, a 31 year old female victim encountered the same incident at Parsons Blvd station around 5:30pm. On May 1, the suspect stole from a 43 year old female victim around 10:30am at 169 Street station. On the same day around 12:30pm, a 35 year old male victim while riding inside the F train using the phone was stolen by the suspect who ran out at the Parsons Blvd station. The suspect is described as male, black, 20's, 5'10", 175lbs wearing black jacket, black backpack and blue jeans.
