Exit 69 closed in Long Island

LIE westbound at Exit 69, all lanes closed due to heavy brush fire. Also delays on William Floyd Parkway in Shirley.

Heavy firefighter activity on the expressway to bring the fire down.

EMS is standing by for injuries.

Police are setting up alternate routes.
