Event turned into a mayhem in Mineola

Police were called to a catering hall in Mineola after an event turned into mayhem. It happened after midnight during a wedding in Mineola on Jericho Turnpike. Police closed off Jericho Turnpike in both directions. Calls came in after a gun was flashing inside the event leaving people for cover. There were no shots fired either inside or outside. EMS reported minor injuries.
