Even 10am is not safe for subways

Police released surveillance photos of a suspect wanted for robbing a woman in Elmhurst. It happened on January 10 around 10am when a 38 year old female who was heading to work was approached by a suspect from behind and placed her in chokehold at the entrance of the Grand Avenue subway station. Then took off with her purse that contained her passport and other items. The surveillance picture was captured on Queens Blvd. The suspect is frequent on Queens Blvd attempting to target victims. If seen, call 911. Ongoing investigation.
