Employee busted for larceny from an inside apartment at Glen Oaks

Police arrested an employee working for the Glen Oaks Village Co-op for larceny. The incident was reported on August 1 around 10pm after a resident complained of items missing inside the apartment on 73rd Road and 254 Street. Police were called and after further investigation, the employee was found in possession of stolen items. The employee was taken into custody and charged with larceny after leaving the premise from an assigned repair. The employee was released on recognizance and order of protection against the resident was issued. Due to union involvement, the employee is not terminated and the Queens DA's office is working on the case. Police advise all residents to remain in their apartments while workers are doing repairs.
