Eight people shot and one dead on Saturday evening to Sunday

NYPD reported 8 people were shot and 1 dead from Saturday late evening to Sunday morning in NYC. The first incident around 7:30pm reported in East Village where one dead. Then one shot in Harlem followed by the Bronx around 10pm. After 10:30pm, one shot in Fort Greene and another in Staten Island. Around 4:30am, two men and a woman were shot in Brooklyn. No one was shot in Queens. Chicago still leads with 50 people shot, 9 killed in the same timeline.
