East Meadow woman arrested for assaulting a nurse at Nassau University Medical Center

The Third Squad reports the arrest of an East Meadow woman for an incident that occurred on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 6:30 PM in East Meadow.

According to Detectives, Officers responded to Nassau University Medical Center located at 2201 Hempstead Turnpike where a female victim, a registered nurse, 45, was performing her duties caring for Defendant April Gologorsky, 47, of 405 Bellmore Road. The defendant became agitated and with a closed fist struck the victim in the face, breaking her glasses, causing a laceration to her face and substantial pain. Officers placed the defendant under arrest without incident.

Defendant April Gologorsky is charged with Assault 2nd Degree and Criminal Mischief 4thDegree. She will be arraigned when medically practical.
