Early morning to afternoon accidents spiked in New Hyde Park

The NCPD reported today was increased with vehicle accidents in New Hyde Park the most in Nassau County. All the incidents were in the vicinity of the parkways and expressways.

EMS reported over ten injuries.

By 1pm traffic resumed to normal and so far no accidents reported in the area.

The next rain date is Thursday on Thanksgiving Day.

Drivers are advised to drive carefully.
