Early morning accident in Bellmore

Police were called to Jerusalem Avenue and Newbridge Road reporting multiple vehicle accident involving 8 vehicles. A school bus and tractor trailer overturned with entrapment.

This is in Nassau County.

The incident was reported around 7:15am this morning.

EMS transported the injured to local hospitals.

ESU cleared the area by afternoon.

The cause of accident is under investigation.
