EDP shot by police in Queens Village

Police are at Jamaica Avenue and 212 Street reporting an EDP has been shot. Jamaica Avenue is closed in both directions. The EDP has been taken to a local hospital after shot in the stomach. The cop involved in the shooting is also taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The EDP is reported a female and a knife was found at the scene. Reported the police involved shooting on EDP female is under investigation.
