EDP crisis reported in Bellerose

The NYPD is on 251st Street in Bellerose reporting a male barricaded inside the home with people. A bright say the EDP has a weapon.

This is by Shiloh Avenue and the coop apartments.

EMS, ESU and other emergency personnel are working on the scene.

Local residents and neighbors are advised to stay indoors.
