Today, the NYC Mayor's Office stated as part of City of Yes, downtown Flushing can rapidly move forth with developments of anything goes. As of today, 21 parking lots hit the market due to demand.

Soon to be the mini Hong Kong version where officials from the NYC Dept of Transportation are coming this week to survey areas for eliminations of parking, vehicles and add more mini-lanes while alleviating congestion for deliveries.

Main Street, Kissena Blvd, Northern Blvd, Roosevelt Avenue and its vicinity will have new routes and lanes with plans released to the public.

There are many speculations that longtime residents exceeding 50,000 may be displaced due to increasing rent to be announced next year making Flushing one of the most expensive prime locations in NYC where rent can go above $5,000.

The biggest winners will be the banks and other financial institutions.

Moreover, the wait and watch is what will be the new demographic for the area with the casino once ready.
