Drug and alcohol gathering resulted into arrests and injuries in Glen Oaks

Police were called after report of assaults including sexual at a private dwelling in Glen Oaks. It happened on December 1 around 7:15pm at the house, 79-15 255 Street. The action resulted in multiple arrests and injuries after drugs and alcohol rampage inside the home. Reported the home was rented by the owner, Vaibhav Zaveri to a main tenant who then sublet to more people on a daily basis.
According to the fire department, the home has occupancy of more than ten people with different tenants living on a daily basis like AirBnB. Drugs were found inside after sublet tenants added more people inside.
The basement of the single family home also rented out to tenants with kitchen and bathrooms without permit. According to a NYC building department inspector who is investigating, it's a single family dwelling and the second floor is also rented out separately with illegal add-ons. One of the sublets stated the main tenant who doesn't live in the home but out of state collects rent and splits the profits with Zaveri in excess of $3,000 per month.

According to sources, Zaveri lives in New Hyde Park where he bought the house in an auction after the previous owner was busted for drugs. The drug raid at the home near Parkville Library in New Hyde Park happened while back and a police auction called for the home which Zaveri brought.

All the arrested were charged with assaults pending arraignment. Zaveri didn’t want to comment on the incident after reaching out. More charges are pending due to an ongoing investigation.
