Driver in custody after three people dead from car crash in New Hyde Park

Police arrested Dante Lennon, 22 of Freeport after a vehicle crash in New Hyde Park. The car crash resulted in three female dead. It happened around 11pm on Jericho Turnpike and South 2nd Street. Reported a vehicle, Lincoln Town Car was exiting the parking lot of the local catering hall when it was t-boned by Mercedes allegedly driven by Lennon. One dead from the Town Car and two others died shortly from the impact. The driver of the Town Car who was the Uber driver is in the hospital along with two more people. 
All the dead victims were leaving from a Sweet 16 party at the local catering hall on Jericho Turnpike in a Uber vehicle.

The investigation continues.
