Drag racing leads to police complaints in Glen Oaks

Glen Oaks residents living behind the shopping center are reporting of drag racing and donuts resulting noises at night time.

On October 31, several apartments residents called 911 after noises around the oval park on 260th Street after 10pm.

Police reported the complaints fall under noise disturbance and advise all to call 311.

The new rule under Mayor di Blasio is to call 911 for crimes such as robbery, rape, felony assault and homicide. The 105th Precinct advise to call their Neighborhood Coordination Officers for such complaints.
