Don t Be Stupid message not working in Astoria

Governor Cuomo in a press brief today told the media after knowing large gathering in Astoria not practicing social distancing. After one eatery was shut down with more sheriff enforcement primarily on Steinway Street, Cuomo threatened that Phase 4 maybe jeopardized in NYC. Well, tonight, several eateries decided to close from fear of sheriff but crowd brought their own drinks. Several people were selling alcohol drinks of their vehicle trunks. As of tonight, sheriff has not enforced the crowd since there are no fine for violating social distancing unless its in a business establishment. Several groups told the media they are protesters having few drinks they brought on their own which only NYPD can enforce for open bottle. For the third day, Astoria has large crowd gatherings.
