Domestic violence leading to one dead in Springfield Gardens

Police reported one dead after domestic violence inside a home in Springfield Gardens. It happened around 1am on North Conduit Avenue. Reported a couple was arguing and the stepson attacked the stepfather with a knife. The stepfather died at the local hospital. The stepson who never had any arrest record is taken into custody and charged with homicide and weapon possession.
