Dollar Tree in a revamp mode after US tariff on Chinese imports

Starting January 1, USA will have a new tariff law for products from international market including China and it will be as high as 25%. After President Trump enforced tariffs on Chinese arrived items to the US including consumer goods totalling over $200 billion dollars, a major retail store, Dollar Tree and Family Dollar is in the process of revamping including set target of raising prices. The company will see a rise of 10% in tariffs and continue to increase thereafter.

About 15,000 stores of both Dollar Tree and Family Tree will be affected. The company has not disclosed the plan whether to remove items from shelves or add higher price of each item. Almost 75% of items are Chinese imported for both stores.
