Meet Elva Brardo and she work as a real estate agent in Jackson Heights and she works hard for her money. When her home went into foreclosure due to her daughter's wedding expenses and missed payment, she paid $2,850 for loan modification to American Hope Group who did nothing. Brardo went straight to the attorney general's office in Manhattan and now American Hope Group is under investigation along with their affiliates. Now the office of attorney general is investigating more cased similar to Brardo to track down in illegal foreclosure scamming. A hotline has been setup for this purpose only equipped with more staff.
