Dispute turned into stabbing in QV

Around 1pm today police were called to an apartment on 212th Street reporting a stabbing. This is by 90th Avenue in Queens Village. EMS reported a victim was stabbed with a screwdriver.

The suspect, male, black barricaded inside the apartment.

Around 3:15pm, the suspect was apprehended by ESU and TARU.

EMS transported the victim to a local hospital.

Ongoing investigation.
