Dispute over parking spot resulted one dead and multiple injuries in South Ozone Park

Police were called to XS NYC at Liberty Avenue and 129th Street in South Ozone Park on Sunday, December 3 around 5am reporting chaos outside the hookah bar. Police reported a fight over parking space between two men resulted into rage of anger and stabbing. Two people were stabbed and six people were mowed down by the suspect's vehicle. From the surveillance video, a white Hundai Sonata was seen going fast on the sidewalk mowing down people. Using the vehicle's license plates, police tracked down the driver at a local hospital with injuries. The 22 year old man from Far Rockaway was cuffed to the bed. Police reported the 22 year old suspect was fighting with two men with a BMW and both were stabbed. Then he took off in the Sonata and struck one of the victim stabbed. Then the victim was dragged by another vehicle. People inside the hookah came out to stop the suspect but were mowed down. All were taken to hospitals. Later police reported one of the stabbing victim, Ricardo Chatergoon, 23 of Far Rockaway was dead at the scene. His friend, a 29 year old man from Brooklyn, the other stabbed victim is in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
