DiBlasio want yellow and green cabs as the first choice transportation for NYC

200 yellow cabs were sold and the city made $228 million. Currently there are more than 13,200 yellow cabs and green ones are growing rapidly. The commissioner of Taxi and Limousine added another 2,000 more yellow cabs to be sold off at auction later next week. Many private car companies are not comfortable with this plan. Recently TLC added wheelchair accessible cabs and there are almost 250 of them out there running in the city.
