Detergents are priceless in Glen Oaks Bellerose QV area

More and more stores are removing laundry detergents and locking them up as the most valuable item being stolen from Glen Oaks, Bellerose and Queens Village vicinity.

On Union Turnpike and 249 Street, the local discount store has all detergents and soaps for clothes in chains where one must pay before taking them.

A store on Hillside Avenue by Springfield Blvd has removed all laundry soaps and detergents altogether after all items stolen by perps.

Several residents reported their water hose has been used by intruders washing clothes in the area without permission while alerting 911. Now residents are removing water hoses from their properties to keep out intruders.

Some of the local laundromats are also adding soap machine by paying.
