Democrats cruised to easy victory in NY

Andrew Cuomo won the third term while six new State Senate from NYC are heading to Albany after their easy victories.

The biggest surprise was Kevin Thomas defeating longtime incumbent Kemp Hannon that covers 6th District in Nassau County.

The six new State Senate from NYC are John Liu for District 11, Jessica Ramos for District 13, Julia Salazar for District 18, Zellnor Myrie for District 20, Robert Jackson for District 31 and Alexandra Biaggi for District 34.
