Dem said GOP said in Long Island

Over the weekend, crime soared in Long Island. Today, a man was taken into custody after displaying a knife inside LIRR in Hicksville. A woman was murdered in Coram on Saturday. Police reported 18 victims were robbed. One incident is the Dunkin Donuts in Hicksville at 432 Jerusalem Avenue where two workers were robbed by a 17 year old suspect. The same day a 22 year old victim was robbed in Westbury. Another one in Garden City. Of 18 suspects, 6 are repeated offenders while the others are still under investigation.

According to the GOP, Dems introduced cashless bail which set free 3,000 inmates who went on to commit 9,000 new crimes in Long Island since then.

According to Dems, the crime rate in Nassau County since bail reforms were implemented giving inmates chances to find a way to join programs is working successfully.
