Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals protest begins

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) will not accept new applications and also President Trump reported the existing 800,000 may face deportation. The immigration policy started under Obama administration in June 2012. DACA allows certain illegal immigrants who entered the country as minors, to receive a renewable two-year period of deferred action from deportation and eligibility for a work permit. In NYC, anyone arrested from DACA protests will not be fingerprinted and issue a fine with court appearance.
