Dead body investigation at a local shop in Whitestone

The NYPD is at a local auto body shop reporting a male has been found dead inside. This is by 14th Avenue near 148th Street.

Call came in around 8pm during closing time but police believe the male was dead earlier.

The medical examiner is working to transport the body to conduct an autopsy.

Additional details were not provided by police.
