Dead body found hanging by SSP

Police are on the Southern State Parkway outbound by Carleton Avenue reporting a dead body found hanging from the overpass. This is in Islip Terrace. The call came in around 3pm after drivers alerted 911. ESU removed the body and the medical examiner transported for pending autopsy. Traffic is being cleared as of now. Ongoing investigation.
