Dead body found by SSP eastbound

The NCPD reported a dead body was found on the side of the Southern State Parkway eastbound by the Exit, Corona Avenue. This is in Valley Stream. The incident was reported around 4am this morning after drivers on the parkway alerted police of a dead body in the woods.

The medical examiner transported the body pending autopsy.
