Dead body found at Alley Pond Park ruled homicide

Bayside - The NYC Medical Examiner confirmed after investigation the body originally reported by police as female is a male and was murdered. The incident happened on Sunday inside the park at 76th Avenue and Cloverdale Blvd around 2pm. The body was discovered by ornithologist while walking. The body of male was faced down with blue jeans and shirt. No proper identification has been found as of yet. The cause of death was due to sharp force of object around the neck and torso. Ongoing investigation. Reported 9am.
