Cuomo signed the bill banning elephants in NYS

On Thursday, October 19 afternoon, NYS Governor Cuomo signed the bill making NY as one of the state banning elephants for any entertainment purpose from circuses, carnivals, parades or trade shows. The bill was sponsored by local member of NYS Assembly Amy Paulin which was passed last year in both Senate and Assembly. The same is applied in NYC when Mayor di Blasio signed the bill last July after local members of City Council passed the legislature.
