Crime is down by 340 victims last week in NYC

The NYPD released crime stat for one week from April 20 to 26 last week. It shows crime is down compared to the same week as last year by 340 victims.

Rape went up by 3 and also grand larceny involving property thefts.

The Mayor is working on the plan to reduce NYPD resources in the coming days to focus more on programs from violence interrupters to social workers to handle calls from domestic violence to EDP crisis.

NYC will continue to remain soft on crime policy to keep the city safe and local elected officials are saying it works.

Also, read this. The current percentage ratio is 18% per City Council district on public benefits who doesn't work but enjoy taxpayer funds. This is where the Mayor is pushing to make it over 20% to keep it under one party rule for a long time by divesting taxpayer funds from NYPD, FDNY and other agencies.
