Crime and coronavirus update

For crime update, NYC reported over 250 assaults inside subways and multiple people pushed to the tracks. NYPD has been ordered to vacate from patrolling subways by elected officials to minimize enforcements such as illegal vendors and stop and frisk. PBA chief reported civilians are on their own with rising crimes inside subways.

For bullets and victims, NYPD reported 3 shot in the preliminary report in the 24 hour space from Thursday to Friday in NYC. For Queens, the latest is 2 dead from shooting near JFK on Friday afternoon pending details.

For coronavirus, statewide reported 205,466 tests with 5,468 positive cases at 2.66% total ratio. 32 deaths yesterday and 2,348 total hospitalization. For NYC, 1,307 positive cases with new patients at 102 in hospitals. 3.02% is the 7 day average infection rate.

NYC Mayor says soon after Thanksgiving, indoor dining and gyms will be closed and update for schools reopening plan before Thanksgiving.
