Court decision resulted a 183 credit to NYC homeowners from the water dept

On Wednesday, December 20, Mayor di Blasio announced 664,000 homeowners of NYC will receive a tax credit of $183 of their water bill. The decision came after NY Court of Appeals upheld Water Board ruling. The credit will be reflected in the next water bill. The $183 credit represents 17% savings from the yearly water and sewer bills for homeowners with one, two and three families. 277,495 residents of Queens was the number as part of the 664,000.
