Convex mirrors thefts are on the rise in Glen Oaks

Glen Oaks residents are increasingly alarmed over the thefts of side view mirrors of both driver and passenger that are convex attached. With a screw driver, the mirrors are easy to remove and can be sold either on the streets or auto body shops for profits.

The attached convex mirror are the new trend people are adapting to their vehicles with easier visibility. Police has been notified of incidents but no advise of how prevent such thefts. Most of the thefts occurred around the public park on 260th Street.
