Continue to the same route for burglaries adding Douglaston

Last night around 9pm, the NYPD reported a home invasion in Douglaston. This is on Douglaston Parkway near Northern Blvd.

Police confirmed two suspects were taken into custody after the matching vehicle described by a witness was located near the Cross Island Parkway.

Charges were filed last night and both perps were released with next court date.

Meanwhile, the same route of burglaries from Bellerose, Glen Oaks and Little Neck continue to increase with no result for a good night sleep for homeowners. Despite adding foot patrol in Bellerose, burglaries are still a problematic issue in the area and maybe need more funding to curb the issue with drones or some technology tools which is the usual response by local elected officials who are favorite for the local residents by keeping them in the office.

Anyway, locals are advised to stay alert and protect their surroundings.
