Construction started for temple after home demolished in Floral Park

The corner of 260th Street and 79th Avenue next to Union Turnpike will house Jain Center, an Indian temple. The residential home has been demolished to make way for the new temple. A date has not been disclosed when the construction will be complete. It will be the second temple within few blocks of different worship place and in-between Our Lady of Snows church. The new temple will not have parking facility but a yard used for religious ceremony.
