Construction of the Hindu temple to be completed by summer in Glen Oaks

The Hanuman Mandir on Hillside Avenue between 257 and 256 Streets in Floral Park which is housed temporarily at 259-19 Hillside Avenue inside one part of an Indian restaurant will soon have a permanent home in Glen Oaks.

Construction has started at the corner of 254 Street near Union Turnpike next to the future home of SNAP.

The temple is expected to be ready by summer 2019 with permits in place for a religious organization that was supposed to be a Jewish Center which ran out of fund.
