ABC's "The Great Christmas Light Fight" show declared Whitestone resident Kevin Lynch as the winner with the best decorations and of course, he got $50,000 check and a trophy. The retired firefighter's home on the corner of 166th Street and 23rd Avenue is now a famous one. His secret is simple. Buy decorative items for cheap after Christmas when no one want them and use it for the following year. Over the years Lynch accumulated various items from stores and progressed with beautiful showcase making every passerby to glare. Out of 20 families selected from nationwide, Lynch could not believe but he plan to do better for next year until he keep on winning.
