ConEd is working to clean up oil dumped in the East River

NYC - ConEd reported a transformer malfunction caused to leak 37,000 gallons of oil into the Hudson River. The report was made on Sunday, May 7. It was confirmed as electrical equipment failure also affected the MTA's subway and train system. At the moment, ConEd is working to clean up the oil including around the subway and train stations. Reported 4pm.
