Starting today, the NYC mayor will bike to work instead of his chauffered car with a driver except armed bodyguards on regular basis. He rode the CitiBike from Gracie Mansion to City Hall as a start. A brief stop at Chrystie Street in downtown Manhattan for a press statement with no questions from the media but listen to him only. Although he may be sweating and smelling after the ride, the mayor didn't respond whether he changed his clothes or took a shower before meeting people to start his work. Next destination is Brooklyn for his bike ride. He will announce more dates for all to use bikes instead of cars in the five boroughs by following him. He wants all to use bikes, nothing but bikes to get around the city.
