Commercial robbery on Jamaica Avenue

Police reported this morning around 6:30am, a group of suspects was seen at a commercial location on Jamaica Avenue.

This is near Francis Lewis Blvd in Queens Village.

Further investigation confirmed this was a robbery at the local live animal market awaiting slaughter next to the local Pep Boys parking lot by 207th Street.

Then took off southbound to the Cross Island Parkway according to a witness.

Police didn't disclose if animals or cash was taken.

Chopper assisted with the search but was unable to track the vehicle.

Ongoing investigation.
