Commercial robberies continue to increase from Ozone Park to Richmond Hill

The NYPD released surveillance pictures of an alleged perp wanted for six armed robberies from March 21 to April 7 in the vicinity of Richmond Hill, Ozone Park and Jamaica.

Another perp wanted for a phone store robbery in Ozone Park from the incident on Friday, April 10. Police say the suspect, male, black pistol-whipped a store worker and removed 29 phones and cash. This is on Rockaway Blvd.

Several more commercial robberies are under investigation from Cross Bay Blvd to Liberty Avenue.

Local retail outlets are all increasing tech equipment from surveillance to additional security measures.

So far this year commercial robberies spiked to 236 in Queens despite being the safest city.
