Come gather for protests for metal detectors and more

After sliding doors demanded by the local politicians with press conferences over and over when a woman was pushed to her death while back, now a new one is being set up. This time it's for metal detectors. "We want metal detectors now" may be their slogan.

Moreover this is the public opportunity to be in the media.

This is the Mayor's quote on metal detectors, "We found a few ways that it could be used and we have identified some of that technology and we want to make sure we do everything within legal means."

As of today, an MTA spokesperson confirmed the sliding doors will not move forth due to the cost. There are 486 stations and each station will cost $1 million each which is almost $500 million. For now, the pilot program for three stations is underway.

Either way local politicians are getting ready for vigils and other events to make sad faces for the press. Open to the public.
