Cleaning divisions not available in Glen Oaks

Glen Oaks residents reported human waste from both sides on sidewalks, roads, shopping centers, residential parking lots, driveways and wherever.

According to the maintenance of the shopping center, power wash on a frequent basis is not available.

According to the NYC Dept of Transportation, property owners are responsible for maintaining sidewalks and cleanups.

This means the city or calling 311 doesn't respond to clean-ups. Local residents reported that homeless, vagrants and other groups of people often sleeping inside the stores have contaminated the walking paths with bathroom services publicly open.

Many parents have complained of having to watch the scenario with their children and were told to call 911 by the security from the residential management.

However, dispatchers from 911 were told to call 311. Then cops from the local police precinct will respond when they are not handling emergency situations and may delay or never show up.

Local part time elected officials responded all to call 311 and wait. If they don't respond, call again. Then keep on trying until reached.

Local residents reported the same people keep coming back and nothing is being done.
